Hey Blog Fam!
I haven’t blogged about my weightloss in a while because I have come to this plateau. I hate when I plateau during major efforts in weight loss. It really de-motivates you in some ways. So today I am going back to basics. I went to Super Target and guess what I found. NEW TAE-BO programs! I was excited! This one that I bought has 5 DVDs included with a new 3 pound expanding stick that Billy incorporates into his workouts. I don’t know if anyone out there has tried Tae-Bo before, but I can tell you from my personal experience that Tae-Bo was the only thing that worked for me with AMAZING results. I tried it when I was 23 or 24 and I was trying to get in shape before Black Beach (Panama City, Florida). I did the basic and advanced tapes for like a month and some change and I dropped a total of 15 pounds as well as totally transforming my body. I think I was the leanest I have ever been during this timeframe. I didn’t even modify how I was eating I just did the tapes around like 6 AM 3 to 4 days out of the week as well as an afternoon kickboxing class with an instructor maybe 3 times a week. I looked at those pictures and I was like WOW how did I do that. That is what I am talking about going back to the basics. So I have the DVD’s for an evening Tae-Bo blast this tonighy. I already did a 5:30 AM treadmill and weight workout. What I am going to do is switch that up. It will be Tae-Bo in the morning 4 to 5 days out of the week and a treadmill workout with strength training 2 days out of the week. Oh I can’t forget about my Funk Jam classes two times a week. So if this doesn’t jump start my weight loss back into gear then I don’t know what will. I will let you know how my progress goes with this on Sunday. Then that will be a full 7 days of Billy and his crew and my new back to basics workout. I am sure something will fall off by then. LOL!

Hair Maintenance
Hey Blog Fam!
Well you all may know that I am a DIYer when it comes to my hair. About two weeks ago I did a retightening session. It went well as you can see from the pic. What I noticed were my ends looking a bit on the raggedy side. I didn't want to do a full grooming session so I just decided to trim my ends today. I was a bit scared since my last fiasco with the scissors but I took my time and did the job. I didn't have any fatalities. I did notice that I have some slower children that are just now locking after a year.
